Gerrynd’s Most Efficacious Mineral Spa

Gerrynd’s Most Efficacious Mineral Spa is the most successful business venture of Croke Gerrynd. It is a geothermally heated bathhouse and health and beauty spa. The place has a reputation that stretches far and wide in Dorwine and there are those that come to take in the unusual sights around Darknook and soak at the spa. 
 
The place has a staff made entirely of gnomes who cater politely to the needs of visitors. Any visitor wishing to enter the spa must hit a gong at the main entrance (which has no door handles) to be let in.
The spa sits over several geothermal bores which are used to heat the pools, power the sauna and other treatment rooms and provide steam for the complex.

Sensory & Appearance

Inside the spa there is a connection of pipes and funnels which lead back to the foyer where a gnome harpist plays and makes fake whale song.

Architecture

The building has been designed to look opulent. Unfortunately Croke Gerrynd has absolutely no taste or the budget to quite pull it off. So all the marble, for example, is actually wood, inexpertly painted to look like marble.

Tourism

The bath is famous in Dorwine, so too are it’s mineral treatments using volcanic minerals collected from around the locale. The Mango-Passion foot scrub is particularly popular.
