Sol & Wyn

In the beginning, when Sol was a young god, and Dominalem was new, he created an equal. Sol did this in secret for he did not want his Demon father to know what he did, for if Sol could be controlled, then so could his brother. Wyn was gentle god, powerful as Sol, but had a curiosity of youth. The two brothers built the world together, using each others ideas to create further depth to the world. However, it was not meant to last. The All Consuming entered, drawing the attention of Sol's demon father. Wyn and Sol fought desperatly against the Consuming, but once the battle was won, The demon corrupted Wyn. Wyn became cold, finding buety in destruction, and death. He washed the landscape in Icy light coating the planet in ice. Sol, being Wyns creator claimed some of his former power back, weakening his brother. In spite Wyn attacked, attempting to destroy their creation. Desprite Sol pushed his planet away, and took to the ever-night to do battle with his brother. Sol and Wyn have been locked in combat ever since, circling each other waiting for the slightest lap in concentration. Their charge suffering as society would when brothers fight.

Sol and Wyn are the Veren names for the two suns that are in locked orbit above the planet. The larger one, Sol causes long summers that cause temperatures to skyrocket. The small sun, Wyn causes brutal winters where the temperature plummets. These two bodies are the reason why all life on the planet is highly adaptable. During the intermittent periods where the planet rests in the middle of the two suns, the climate is temperate and resembles that of our own planet.
