The Conflict
Prelude
While many historians disagree on when the series of events that led to the Bagtet wars; The Great Flight or mass migration of displaced clansmen from the northern wastes was the first indication of trouble. Initially the Veren Legions and the Boarder Clans ignored the oddity. The two military powers of the region, despite being 'allies were more worried about each other, than any outside threat.
Eventually, Corio Bearflayer Chieftain of the Bearflayer Tribe chose to heed the warnings of the fleeing tribesmen. After a brief, yet illuminating scouting mission. Corio Bearflayer rushed to find aid from the Veren Legions. His pleas however, fell on deaf ears. The Commander that spoke to Corio refused to believe what the Chieftain was saying. An organized army of Hobgoblins, Perverse and other monstrosities united under one banner. Refusing to allow this threat to go unchecked Corio managed to rally allies and the fleeing tribesmen to march against this new threat. Thus, the Bagtet wars began.
Bagtet's Arrives south
While Corio was attempting to rally support, The monstrous host maneuvered southward. Led by Bagtet Stonejaw the host began setting up base camp for combat operations around the base of ancient tower. Consisting of Disciplined Regiments of hobgoblins, bloodthirsty Perverse Hordes, and foul monstrosities of a terrifying variety Bagtets' host was a force to be reckoned with. The Bagtet wars had begun.

Early War
12/4/733-1/1/735
The Bagtet War's early years were fought by the Chundra Clan, Redlos Clan and Bearflayer's host. Despite a lack of participation from the major military powerhouses of the region, the ad-hoc coalition held off Bagtet's host for two years. The Coalition fought a string of battles in the first year of the war concluding in The Battle of Tribal Ridge.
The Battle of Tribal Ridge was fought on 3/23/734, an resulted in a decisive victory for the coalition forces. It would be the only major battle that the Coalition would win for the next four years.
Following the Battle for Tribal Ridge, Bagtet reorganized his forces, and made another pass into the coalitions lines. The Warlord utilized the mobility of the Perverse Hordes to attack at the Coalition's heartland. The Perverse's brutal guerrilla action terrorized the villages and towns of the Chundra clan. The second action Bagtet took was an aggressive push with the most Venerated regiments of his hobgoblin forces, and pushed hard at the Redlos Clans boarders. The lack of supplies ate away all of the Chundra forces supplies, and moral; forcing them to retreat.
The Dreadful Dozen
1/4/735-12/24/735
Due to the withdraw of Chundra's forces, the two remaining members of the Coalition found themselves severely outmatched. As the year ground on the dissent between the two factions grew. This dissent led to a disagreement on strategy. Chief Redlos, wanted to take an aggressive push to break Bagtet's forces, before the Coalition ran out of resources. Bearflayer wanted to give ground in a scoarched earth approach, and tax the enemy's supply-lines until Chundra forces could reengage. The constant argument between the two factions caused the Coalition to lose its tempo.
Eventually, this lack of action forced the Coalition into a large engagement. Bagtet made a push for the Redlos capital. The Redlos army moved to intercept the host, despite the protests and eventual withdraw of Bearflayer forces. The Butchery of Amber-gate followed shortly after. The initial assault proved to be bait, and after a quick and brutal ambush, Chief Redlos, and is forces were broken. The City fell next; rumors of the horrid brutality that occurred spread like wildfire, and was a severe blow to Bearflayer moral.
Bearflayer Spent the Remainder of the year fighting a series of delaying engagements, and skirmishes. Chundra fell shortly after Redlos.
Late War and Conclusion
The year after the dreadful dozen was harsh to say the least.
