Miscellaneous natural laws

While most natural laws (like gravity) are the same in Domhan as they are on Earth, there are a few factors that change how they work.
First is magic in Domhan. Magic allows its caster to influence the way their surroundings work, and manipulate it to achieve their goals. This can alter things like aging, despite the fact that Ako, when it created the Emberi, decided that they could only live for 100 years.
Second is the Veikas themselves. Though the Veikas are loathe to use their powers in reckless ways, they can still locally influence the workings of gravity, or cause the land to rise up and form mountains. Their mastery over the Expanse is so great that such feats, while draining, are possible for them.
