"Starburst"
Small stars of light burst forth into the air and intercept any projectile weapon ammo or magical attack that travels through the air and has a specific target.

Effect

Star shaped motes of energy appear and intercept any attack that has a specific target. Secondary damage is as normal and not preventable. 2 stars per caster level may be created when cast. Upon the interception, any remaining stars vanish.

Side/Secondary Effects

Temporary blindness may occur if the star lights intercept too close the intended target. This may occur less than 10% of the time.

Manifestation

Silent small yellowish white stars streak forth to intercept the attack. Those that are defended may experience a short hum or vibration in the air before impact.
