Soulsteel

"Soulsteel"   A black metal that seems to be both there and not there at the same time. Forged from a soul and a truly evil material.   Frequently evil denizens will use this material to display their status. The more soulsteel, the more souls they have accumulated, the higher their status and prestige. Most often displayed in the form of strung coins and weapons.   Soulsteel will dissipate and release the trapped souls after 24 hours of exposure to the Prime Material Plane, unless in the possession of an outsider or housed in a magical containment device (often a magical bag or sheath).
