Mimea, Goddess Of Plants

"In the stillness of the grove, her voice is the rustle of leaves, her breath the scent of blooming flowers. To know Mimea is to feel the pulse of life itself, a reminder that we are but one thread in her endless tapestry."
— Erindoralla Willowsway, Elven Priest of The Green Veil Circle
Mimea, Goddess Of Plants, stands as a beacon of life, growth, and balance. Born from the selfless sacrifice of Mircea, Goddess of Forest Plants and Animals, and Gozdnih, God of the Forest, Mimea embodies their enduring legacy, carrying forth their divine essence after their battle against Razarac, the Destroyer. She is the protector of nature’s harmony, ensuring the cycles of growth and decay remain unbroken.   Mimea’s presence is felt in every sprouting seed, every ancient tree, and every vibrant bloom that adorns the world. Her divine realm, The Everflora Expanse, is a sanctuary of eternal life and renewal, where her essence nurtures the interconnected web of existence. To her followers, she is a guiding force of stewardship and compassion, but also a reminder of the delicate balance that sustains all life.   Though worshiped widely, especially by the elves, Mimea’s influence transcends race and creed, inspiring druids, farmers, healers, and wanderers alike. Her tenets teach respect for the natural world, preservation of sacred lands, and a reverence for life’s cycles. Yet, beneath her serene visage lies a deeper mystery, whispered rumors of divine relics, ancient alliances, and secrets that may one day shape the fate of Domen Aria itself.   Mimea is more than a goddess of plants, she is a guardian of life’s essence, a healer of broken lands, and a silent witness to the ever-turning wheel of creation.

Realm

Mimea resides in The Everflora Expanse, a divine realm that is a manifestation of the idealized harmony of nature. The Everflora Expanse is an endless, lush landscape of thriving forests, vibrant meadows, and crystalline waters. Towering trees with glowing canopies stretch to a sky imbued with an eternal golden-green twilight. Flowers bloom perpetually, and creatures of all kinds, real and mythical, roam freely in peaceful coexistence.   At the heart of this realm stands The Lifebloom Citadel, a magnificent, living tree-palace where Mimea dwells. Its roots span the breadth of the realm, connecting every part of the Expanse and serving as conduits for life and growth. This dimension is a sanctuary for souls attuned to nature and a haven for spirits of the wild, existing as a timeless embodiment of life’s cycles and the balance Mimea cherishes.

— Fallanora Mendwater, druid of The Green Veil Circle.

Worshipers Of Mimea

The Green Veil Circle: A devout druidic order dedicated to preserving nature’s sanctity and spreading Mimea’s teachings. Members protect sacred groves, tend to endangered species, and serve as mediators between settlements and the natural world. The Green Veil Circle is known for their elaborate seasonal rituals and their symbolic garb adorned with flowers and leaves.   The Bloomguard: A militant faction that defends sacred sites and The Everflora Expanse from defilers and invaders. These nature paladins blend combat prowess with plant-based magic, wielding living weapons and armor crafted from enchanted vines and bark.   The Green Choir: A peaceful monastic group that venerates Mimea through song and art inspired by nature. They maintain serene sanctuaries filled with gardens and natural beauty, offering solace to weary travelers and fostering harmony between people and the natural world.   The Children Of The Everbloom: A cult-like organization that believes Mimea’s ultimate goal is to overtake all civilization with a vast, sentient forest. They view urban development as a sin and often sabotage construction efforts or instigate rewilding projects. Their extremism has alienated them from mainstream worshipers.

Opponents Of Mimea

The Scorched Tide: The Scorched Tide is a radical group of fire wielders and pyromancers who seek to eradicate nature’s dominion to create a world of endless flames and molten landscapes. They believe the raw power of fire represents true freedom and purity, viewing Mimea’s teachings of balance and interconnectedness as chains that restrain the potential of humankind and the elements.   The Scorched Tide actively targets forests, sacred groves, and any areas of lush plant life, often using devastating firestorms and forbidden flame rituals to reduce these places to ash. Their symbol is a flaming wave, and their members are known for branding this mark onto their skin as a sign of loyalty.   The group reveres destructive elemental forces and often aligns with deities or entities of fire and chaos. They see The Everflora Expanse as a symbol of Mimea’s “tyranny of life” and dream of setting it ablaze, believing that only then can true power and progress emerge from the ashes. Their leaders, known as the Scorchmasters, are master pyromancers who have tapped into dangerously unstable forms of fire magic, making them formidable enemies of Mimea’s followers.     The Iron Dominion: A technocratic empire that prioritizes industrial expansion and resource exploitation. They oppose Mimea’s influence, seeing her as an obstacle to progress. The Dominion frequently clashes with her followers, viewing nature as a resource to conquer and control.     The Blades Of Chaos: A destructive cult aligned with Razarac, the God of Destruction. They view Mimea as an enemy of their deity’s ethos, seeking to raze forests and desecrate her sacred sites to assert chaos over balance and growth.
"The flowers on the battlefield bloom for her. Not for joy, but to reclaim what was stolen, to mend what was broken. Even amidst death, Mimea works her quiet miracles."
— Sevaloron Thornarrow, Ranger and Devotee of Mimea

Rumors

The Hidden Grove: It is whispered that a secret grove exists somewhere in Domen Aria, where Mimea herself once walked. This grove is said to hold unimaginable power, including a fragment of her divine essence, capable of healing any wound or purging any corruption. Some claim the grove moves to avoid being defiled by mortals.   The Seeds Of Rebirth: Legends speak of seven divine seeds scattered across the world by Mimea after the defeat of Razarac. These seeds are said to hold the power to regrow entire forests, summon mythical creatures, or even reshape barren wastelands. However, no one has ever confirmed their existence.   The Withering Curse: Some believe that Mimea punishes those who defile nature by marking them with a curse that causes their bodies to gradually wither like dying plants. Others claim the cursed are transformed into twisted tree-like creatures bound to guard sacred groves for eternity.   The Everflora’s Secret: A tantalizing rumor suggests that The Everflora Expanse holds a mysterious portal leading to a realm even older than the gods themselves, a place where Mimea’s deity parents, Mircea and Gozdnih, may still exist in another form.   The Warden’s Vow: A rare and dark rumor says that Mimea once struck a secret pact with an ancient, destructive force to protect her realm from Razarac. This unknown force allegedly waits for Mimea to fulfill her end of the bargain, potentially endangering her followers.   A Mortal’s Favor: Some believe Mimea occasionally walks the mortal plane in disguise, rewarding those who demonstrate profound selflessness toward nature with blessings or even a glimpse of her divine form. Stories abound of wandering strangers who turned out to be the goddess herself.
"To walk in her sacred groves is to feel the pulse of life itself, a quiet rhythm of creation, decay, and rebirth. Mimea speaks not in words but in the rustle of leaves and the bloom of flowers."
— Bilindoril Scarwood, Ranger of The Bloomguard
