Briar Thorn Winery

The Briar Thorn Winery is a relatively new establishment located in the hardwoods of the Kuuloom Forest. Constructed entirely from Silverwood logs and surrounded by Moonflowers, it is situated just outside and north of the city of Starwatch. Despite the dangerous forest, it’s proximity to the city and its owner’s safeguards has enabled it to become a thriving winery.
Owned and operated by the eccentric Thorn family, the venerable half elf Olsen Thorn, has seen his dream of creating a prosperous vineyard finally come to fruition after years of precautions and preparation. Although it is not the biggest or the most famous winery in the land, its reputation is spreading quickly. The unconventional Olsen Thorn insists on only making wines from fruits and plants that have briars or thorns on them. So far their winery is producing a small number of excellent wines. The most popular wine requests are for their Raspberry Red Racer, Blackberry Bear, Gliding Gooseberry, and Pinklace Rose.

Structure

The winery is owned and operated by Olsen Thorn and his family. His wife runs all financial aspects of the business and her brother oversees the safety and security of the area. Olsen’s three sons, two nieces, nephew, and sister-in-law run the other day to day operations of the winery.

Public Agenda

The winery’s main goal is to produce unique and flavorful wines that all people can enjoy. After years of trial and error and setbacks, the winery has recently been able to offer excellent quality wines that correspond to the family’s thorny namesake.
