The Abbot
The Abbot at Krezk is a religious figure for the Morninglord faith. Prior to their arrival at the Abby of Krezk the party has heard rumors regarding him as a powerful healer able to perform some restorative magics well beyond the capability of other clergy of the Morninglord the party has seen to date.
The party met The Abbot at The Abby of Saint Markovia overlooking Krezk. The party discovered that the Abbot was using a magical red gem to maintain the coherent structure of a flesh golem he's been referring to as Vasilka. The party also met others who came to the Abby to be turned to mongrelfolk by the Abbot as well as 2 failed versions of the Vasilka golem.
The party discovered that the Abbot is a celestial via Krysis' ability to sense a variety of good and evil beings.
The party discovered the Abbot has determined Strahd is a permanent fixutre of this land. His goal is to restore Strahd's long lost love Tatyana to him in order to restore peace to the valley by giving Strahd that which has eluded him his entire life. The Abbot's lifetime of work has yeilded 3 flesh golems - 1 guards the halls of the sanitarium where a variety of depraved mongrolfolk reside. 1 is contained to the second floor of the east wing where The Abbot is attempting to bind a soul to it. The 3rd he refers to as Vasilka. He needs a suitable face to complete this construct after which he will attempt to identify the soul of Tatyana and bind it to this vessel.
QUEST: The Abbot has requested the party bring the Abbot a suitable face for Vasilka in his effort to reacreate Tatyana for Strahd von Zarovich. Someone young and beautiful befitting of a king.
