Fanes of Barovia

The Fanes of Barovia are druidic ritual sites located in Barovia. The Fanes provided ritual sites the druids used at summer and winter solstices to honor their dieties the Ladies Three. A Fane was dedicated to each.

The party found some texts which implied their existence in passing in their early exploration of Barovia.

The party first encountered the Forest Fane near the Durst Mill. Gnoll swore a pact at this site to a mysterious entity who has given him a thirsting blade Wrath and magical abilities he did not previously possess.

The party encounted the Mountain Fane at Yesterhill. Here they assisted the druid Chulainn in the defeat of the vampiric druid Gulthias.

The party has not encountered the Water Fane or been given any information on its location.

There is a Water Fane along a river.
