Church of Saint Andral

This slouching, centuries-old stone church has a bulging steeple in the back and walls lined with cracked, stained glass windows depicting pious saints. A fence of wrought iron encloses a garden of gravestones next to the church on the western side.

The church is a place of worship of the Morninglord faith and Father Lucian Petrovich oversees the church and does his best to raise spirits. Lucian is the brother of the Burgomasters wife Lydia.
The eastern side has an orphanage which is run by Head Mistress Claudia Belasco.
The western side has an exit to the graveyard on the grounds rear of the church buildings.

Purpose / Function

Gathering place for residents of Vallaki to worship the Morninglord, to confess their sins, to mourn and bury their losses in the graveyard. The Church also has an orphanage.

Special Properties

Residents of Vallaki believe the ground to be hallowed. They believe the hallowed ground of the church cannot be infiltrated by the minions of the devil Strahd.
