20GY Geremwik Teg Logbook

Iralnerd A Rafromen, 20GY

The room was clearly not taken care of. Overgrown grass settled in front of the doorway, a bush with no flowers grew over the door. Once I pried the door free from its branches, I cracked the door open and saw my worst enemy crawling about the floor.

A herd of Swelrodun Beetles infested the window facing the river! I tried to muster up the courage to throw them outside, but I could feel them crawling all over me just from glancing in their direction. I called the man who sold me the cottage, he was walking nearby, waiting fro potiental other residents. He offered to rid them for me, and I decided to centure into Geremwik Forest while he fixed that.

Out foraging, I found a few seeds that I planted in the empty garden. I really hope I get some good crops. And neighbors, oh, I hope I get good neighbors. And less bugs. That was the one thing I asked Grenirn A Lendyer about, and he said there would be no bugs for me to see in this tiny to be town.

After cleaning up some of the old furniture, I found a barrel full of dried food. Some fish, mostly salted meat. I broke off a piece and had a bite, and they were still good. No use in leaving it. As there's a food shortage and Grenirn was talking about needing more food focused people, how could I leave it? Would you write me up, dear Godsear reading my logbook?

There were a few bottles under a loose floorboard as well, filled with what smelt very, very strong brew. I'd save those for much later.

Iralnerd A Rafromen 27GY

I hear the Gapetruns were having difficulty concieving, and adopted twins in 27GY. During winter, I paid our neightbors to take care of the children, the snow, the complaints, it was all too much for me. Elghal took the stand, had wheel added, and went to the entrance of the forest. We sold a good amount, and took turns sleeping on a mat. It was nice to see new faces, and they seemed grateful. I ddin't want to wear out y welcome however, and we quickly sold out and kept moving onl. I knew from my own experiences, rivalries will not help the custoers, especially in dire food times like this. Elghal encouraged me to make more Applie pie, but it was so labour nitentive, I only wanted it to be available one a month. It keeps the excitement, and helps with sales while not tiring me out. It's an art really.   Landlord confessed he was in love with me. He asked me to meet me at the cave entrance, and I ddin't. He doesn't stop by the stall anymore.   While on vacation, Elghal and I were taking shifts of taking care of the stall. I didn't get to see him very often. This was just when I started become what the kids calle "famed". I ... didn't mind. Proves that I'm good right? I met one man, Godlir A Ivilagen, who kept buying dishes from my shifts. Elghal didn't recognize him by my description. But I didn't mind.   At first Godlir said he was buying extra for his wife and child. Eventaully he stopped talking about them at all, and would talk about himself and why he liked coming around. Then, I started to notice when no one else was around, he would talk about me. First it was innocent, the foods I created and why, then it was more physical. How I flipped the Tegwik Chal Button, my mouth as I spoke, as I took a bite fo my food.   It was a silly night. And a silly thing we did. Nothing more came from that, I told him that. and he grimly agreed. I made time for Elghal the very next day, and we spend our time along the river, throwing sticks at fish and playing with the clay by the riverbed. The next morning, I told him I was sure we were expecting a new life. Maybe a girl even. He was ecstatic. It rained the next day, and we didn't cover the food. There's always mroe food to cook, there's always a way to fix things. I wonder if Blushirith Wood can die hair as well.   We bit the bullet, we bought property to rent out the Geremwik Teg Cave. I want ot get away from everyone, I don't care about being the best anymore! It quiet. It stays warm, and there's a small streamof water and pond for water. We couldn't get out the contract thanks to restrictions on the 20GY Irenert Fields Call For Declaration, but it's still small rent. I don't know what the tax on here will be, but everything is settled. I fee happy. Away from all those prying eyes.   Third baby is delevered in that very cave. I dont like Elghal's food, i only want qualty things. Its hard to store things in the cave, its damp and things get rotten. its better than the space ordinacnces we faced at the camp Gerempon Ver. Still. We're struggling a bit, using our own money to buy the tools we had before, workers are expensive. Will we be able to save these ovens for when we find somewhere bigger? I worry daily.   We lost the baby, where did she go? The , while they are good people, took her for a moment. We visited Gerempon Ver to settle a simple disppute adn gatgher our letters, and the Gapetrun family had their three infants, but actually they had four. Miss says she had two and that Mr had one, and Mr says he had two and though ms had one.   I was so upset, but it was Elghal that foudn her. He picked her up, her little red hair quivering in the cold Daledes wind, her skin looking almost pale purple. I'll keep her with me now, next to the fire, and plan to keep her in the sun when it shines. Elghal's skin is dark and sun tanned, his daughter's should be as well. It's not pale and priveledged like the strands of pale blonde hair. It should show just that.   I do feel bad, as the Gapetrun family got evicted from the house, and have to apply to the new camp. It's much larger than the one we all came from, but its from an abandoned husk for a village, no one rememebers the name or wants to say it. Surely it'll bring in more workers and villagers, so we'll see what happens. I won't be counting on their sales anymore at he very least. Odehin is home safe, however. That's what I know.   I later learn Tarelnarm A Gapetrun offered to provide rumors and gossip to earn some extra Runes for his family. It still astonishes me that I'm famous enough for that, I just wanted to be good as good as a kid, I never imagined all this would come along with it.   It was going to be a traditional starting, from one of Her Merchants His pie was sloppy, and garnered with an insult from the judges, and I excused myself to not see him distraught again. He and his wife welcomed a daughter into their lives, and I'm sure she wouldn't mind a messy pie.   They sent me to the closest Godsear's Outpost, solitary. Me only. Away from even Elghal, that might be okay. He can be easily frightened about many situations he always ends up overcoming, but he did surprise me. He was assuring me even as both our toddlers hung from his arms dangerously, Odehin scream crying as he saw me off. It was only a fortnight I was gone, but I quickly missed him.   It was very boring.   Of all people, Bapidzel A Kurinsed came to check on me. They assued me no Godsear would enter, I assumed they meant anyone at all. I was getting a little more than lonely after a week by my lonesome and that wretched ink. But I didn't want company now, I needed to finish this manuscript and get back to my normalcy.   Funnily enough, even when I was getting some silly ideas, a Godsear did end up barging in, to get Bapidzel out. Only one more day, and I'll be back. No more waiting. And no more dredful writing. How to spell dredful again?   And I'm out! Two manuscripts I left with them, and I raced out of there as quickly as possible. I saw Kaleon A Mestrin as I started the ride home, and while she was a familiar face, not familiar enough. I let her know I left a thank you meal for the godsears before I left while I was waiting and antsy, and she was welcome to grab a free meal there. She nearly tripped on her skirts rushing up the stone steps.   The boys are growing well. They complain about being tired from playing outside an seem to be becoming competitive with each other. Aroudn this age I started getting the same way, I simply had other kids around to act out with. These two boys are the eldest of the village, and I need to step in if I don't want to see them at each other's throats.
Written in Shudar Writing Style.   The recording Godsears at the time were very sloppy in their recording, dates were missing, things filed in the wrong, whole towns merged into multiple. Extra work was issued to complete the unfinished and incorrect entries.
