The Principality of Sentinel

Sentinel is a fortified coastal city and a Principality, it is an extertorial member of “The Darion Imperium”. It has its own local government but in regional politics are subservient to the will of “The Darion Imperium”.
Principality of Sentinel is nestled around the southern part of the “Gobo Jungle”, following two rivers that is flowing out to “The Murky Sea” it is bordered by Zul'Gor to the north and dont have any other land neighbor.
Situated on a natural trade line between “The Empire Of Samarauch”, "Kingdom of Amaranthia", "The Darion Imperium", "Kingdom of Daln Aerathain" and "The Gobo Alliance" it has ended up a trade center of the south of Avanor and has benfited from it as a result.

Goverment

The Current government is a principality but a number of different merchant companies has such great control of the city that many individuals would proclaim that prince is nothing more when a figurehead. As such the goverment function more like a Plutocracy.

History

Has a history of enslaving the natives of the jungle but political forces in the empire is pushing for the slavery ban to affect unincorporated territories as well.
