House Aprilis

Historical Background:

As one of the Twelve Imperial Houses, House Aprilis once ruled the Valaísian Province as part of the Imperium, holding immense political and military authority. They were known for their deep devotion to the Imperial Cult, their highly disciplined knightly orders, and their long history of service to the empire.
When the Imperium fractured, House Aprilis refused to let their province descend into anarchy. Instead, they declared themselves the rulers of an independent empire, claiming their right to rule as one of the original Twelve Houses. While some former provinces struggled with internal rebellion, House Aprilis had a strong military tradition and trsision the province to a centralized feudal structure, allowing them to maintain control.
Today, the Valaísian Empire stands as one of the strongest successor states of the Imperium, holding to the old traditions of imperial law and divine rule. However, they face resistance from both internal factions and rival successor states, particularly those who reject the authority of the former Twelve Houses.
