Daemonlands
The Daemonlands are the plane of existence where Daemons and Daemon Lords manifest and reside. It is only reliably accessible via a few entrances, all of which--at least those known to exist--are guarded closely by Daemon Hunters. A few notable entrances are the Blackwell at Nazerath, the Deep City; Zamain's world wound, which doubles as both an entrance to the Daemonlands and the Faewild; the Ring Ni atop Der Tour in the North Reaches of Maingye; and the Oltyx in the Southern Everjungle. Far more unknown portals exist, however they are even less reliable than those major ones listed above, so remain unknown.
The Daemonlands is difficult to describe, as similar to Daemons, it is shaped by collective sentient and sapient thought. Less is known about how exactly that works, as few survive trips into the Daemonlands. What is known is that it is endlessly shifting, impossible to truly know or map, and is better left untouched.
The Daemonlands, while inaccessible, are not unseeable. The night sky acts as a portal into the Daemonlands, with auroras, constellations, and other phenomena giving some insight into what occurs. The little article "Gods, Sky, and the Afterlife" describes the stars in the sky as the physical representation of gods, brought about as a result of sentient and sapient belief. What is left out, due to the author's lack of knowledge, was that every star represents not just a god but a Daemon. The more powerful the Daemon, the brighter its star. Daemon Gods and their angels will create constellations of that God and other parts of its theology and mythology
The Soul Circuit, manifested visually as auroras, eclipses, and other phenomena, is the fundamental "stuff" of the Daemonlands. The "matter"--so to speak--out of which it is formed. The movement of stars across the sky directly translates the movement of Daemons and Daemon Lords in the Daemonlands.
