Amy Brown (a.k.a. Lutīyā)

Lutīyā, civilian name Amy Brown (née Faulkner), is a Canadian Rogue formerly operating in Michigan and Wisconsin in the United States. She is the wife and partner-in-crime of Consequence and biological mother of Samantha Miller.
Lutīyā is currently held imprisoned at East Branch, serving a 1X-year sentence without possibility of parole.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Amy is slightly above average height, with blonde hair that reaches just past her shoulders, usually worn open. Her face is oval, with prominent cheekbones and a slight turn-up nose. Together with her blue eyes and rather pale complexion she acquired of the years in prison, she'd have an almost aethereal appearance were it not for her build and figure, which fits the superhero cliche quite well.

Special abilities

Lutīyā has been assigned a Brute-classification, though the nature of her super-strength is disputed. While she seems to be able to lift things with ease and can damage objects heavily with just her bare hands, it has been observed that said objects do not seem to follow the normal laws of physics as she interacts with them. This has lead to speculation she might actually be a Striker-type super, though the Brute classification was maintained due to her power also making her invulnerable to most projectile and blunt weaponry.

Apparel & Accessories

During her earliest crimes, Lutīyā wore a bike helmet and a black mask covering her lower face, together with a brown leather jacket that she had spraypainted with neon blue.
Later in her career, she opted for a more traditional super costume, wearing a domino mask, black and blue leotard, heavy boots and ornamental bracers.

Personal history

Amy was born in London, Canada, to a couple in an unhappy marriage that broke apart mere two years later. With custody rights being given to her father, the two of them soon moved to Detroit, Michigan for work-related reasons. Amy often felt neglected by her father due to him having to work long hours to support both of them throughout her entire childhood. Amy's father eventually fell into unemployment as Detroit's economy declined.
Amy discovered her power around the age of thirteen and soon enough began thinking about using them to help her family's dire financial situation. She committed her first theft at age fifteen and her first proper robbery at sixteen. Eventually her father uncovered her secret double life and after an intense argument, Amy walked out, never to return.
Falling in with the local Rogue crowd, she soon teamed up with Thinker Consequence and the two began a long-lasting spree of robberies. Eventually, the two connected privately and fell in love. In 2008, the couple left Detroit and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they married. A few months later in 2009, Amy gave birth to their daughter Samantha.
Amy and her husband continued to lead a dangerous double life: On one side was their increasingly brazen and wreckless crimes that resulted in deaths and injuries amongst Sanctioned supers, while on the other side they were devoted to raising their daughter as best they could, Amy vowing to do better than her own parents had at any cost.
Ther luck ran out in 2013, when the authorities in Wisconsin put a bounty on their capture, which lead to The Vanguard dispatching some of their members so deal with them. Under the leadership of Miss Memory, the team subsequently captured and arrested both Amy and her husband.
The resulting trial was marred by legal troubles, as Consequence had used his power to tamper with evidence to make it non-admissable and make it difficult to establish questions of guilt. In the end, though, the two were still sentenced to ten years without parole at East Branch.
Amy Brown remains in jail and is due for release in 2023.

Intellectual Characteristics

Amy feels kicked down by society and aims to kick back. Proud and a bit authoritative, she is softspoken but determined in private life, but has a pretty foul mouth as a super. Feeling abandoned and disappointed by her family, she vowed to do better with her own daughter and is thus a devoted and loving mother, willing to go to hell and back for her daughter. Being forced to abandon her when she went to prison only served to deepen her hatred for the authorities.
