The amount of people who are alowed to enter the great tower could be counted on two hands. Those who do enter it say very little of its contents and many have tried and died trying to get inside to gleam at the secrets it contains.

If one were to spread information about what happens inside the Wardens will go to great lengths to make sure that the spread stops or is tainted with false inormation.

Purpose / Function

The great tower mainly serves the Exhalted Few in their quest to aquire knowledge. This means that the great tower contains multiple libraries and experimental spaces.

The libraries are spread out beneath the surface as a way to minimize the risk of fire and the risk of someone finding sensitive information. Only the archivist and their apprentice accurately knows where all the knowledge that is inside can be found.

Experiemnts can often go wrong, so the experimental spaces are located in the upper part of the great tower.

Architecture

Carved from a single piece of sandstone the great tower stands tall avoer the surrounding walls of the citadel. Its outer surface unadorned and its inside structured like something between a fortification, a library, and a laberatory.

What is not obvious from the outside is the size inside, due to it going deep below the surface of the surrounding desert.

Tourism

A tourist is unlikely to ever leave, at least not alive. Only one person has managed to leave and survive when they were not supposed to, and they were not a turist. They took the name Evig Vandrar.
