Leano
When we get there, will we find it to be the body of an Antediluvian, or the ruined structures of many?Leano, also known as Nooum by Xalnans, is the moon of the distorted lands.
Appearance
Leano is spherical body with a colour of varying grey. The surface is patterned with lines that are similar to those found on ancient objects found in the distorted lands.
Myths
There are many myths about, or related to, Leano. Most of these myths tell tales about how it came to be, what can be found there, or how someone travelled there.
The two most common myths talk about what Leano are:
A piece of the world
The story goes that when the Antediluvian walked the planets surface there was nothing in the sky but the sun and the stars. Eventually they got bored with the empty sky, so they begun creating floating cities, but even this would not satisfy them for long.
Soon enough they wanted something that would stay up there forever. They started taking pieces of the ground and then they lifted them up to where there was no air and where their creation would be visible all year round.
A second home
The second myht explains that there was a moon there, just as there is now. With hard work the Antediluvian managed to travel there - how that happened depends on the storyteller - and began shaping it until it was a place where they could live, leaving it to look like it does now.
Some say that they live there to this day and that they are merely observing us. Others claim that it is abandoned like the structures on the distorted lands.
