Destiny is a young girl who is well built although she is not that athletic. Her hands are strong from playing musical instruments and the music pastor at her church says she has the voice of an angel. Despite all this Destiny has been running the risk of going blind and being a kid who only knows what it is like to see is afraid.

Personal history
Like her brother Destiny wasn't born to the most stable of families and has suffered greatly from the abuse she suffered from drunk father. After Destiny suffering multiple traumas to the head Destiny's and Martin's mother finally got the courage to go to court and divorce her husband. Their mother couldn't take both children from being poor and only being able to afford to take care of one child. She picked Destiny and when the divorce was final she left for the other side of the country.
Destiny got touch with Martin several years later and their friendship resumed with the drawback that she will lose sight.

Mental Trauma
Destiny suffered physical abuse at the hands of her father who hit her with a beer bottle this strike has messed up her eyesight. The second trauma that she faced was her parents' divorce when her mother couldn't get enough evidence to take both her and her brother away from their father. Destiny didn't want to leave her brother who had been the only man in her life to try and protect her.

Destiny has a strong sense of justice and has been an advocate against domestic abuse in her school doing her best to help her classmates out of bad living conditions and getting them to people who can help them. Destiny believes that people shouldn't turn their backs on social issues or just shrug them off and believes that leaving the issues unresolved will have bad consequences in the future. She believes that everyone should be held accountable for their own actions and society be reprimanded if it fails the people it should have been protecting.
