AIgents

An AIgent is a deliberately limited self-improving, self-aware and intelligent AI, permitted by the governments of the Glittering Worlds to have personal motives, preferences, and personalities. AIgents generally “live” in servers and project themselves using a holosheath, though some choose nanotech or even mechanical robot bodies. AIgents are contrasted with the non-self-improving Bots and the self-improving but personalityless Forges[holosheath] , though some choose nanotech or even mechanical robot bodies.
