Dark skinned human woman. Hair covered in a silk scarf with an elaborate print of colourful birds and stars. Wears a long gown of red silk. One eye is brown, one is pure white. French accent. Appears to be in her early 40s.
Mater Jaquelot is a formidable but hospitable character. Leader of Direwold for many years. Mater has ruled with compassion and even-handedness and is popular with the people.
