Ironbeards

The Ironbeard Dwarves have lived in the mountains of Rannagar’s Spine as long as any can remember. The mines and forges supply much of the land with the tools, weapons, and metal equipment they enjoy. The Ironbeards have remained above any local conflicts through their invaluable smithing skills, and the fact that no-one dare to try and storm their tunnels.

The Ironbeards are fierce warriors as well as talented craftspeople. They are used to facing the unnamed subterranean terrors which infest the deeper mines. Unlike the surface dwellers, who only lift a weapon for pay or at the command of their master, the Ironbeards fight for their homes, their families, and the honour of their ancestors.

The Ironbeards refer to those above ground as Sundwellers.

These Dwarves are stern, law abiding folk. They observe the customs of their forebears and work to the glory of Dumathoin.
