The Co Stone

Not actually a stone at all, but a magically imbued Emerald gem with the carving of a smooth skinned reptile/avian face, The Co Stone is considered by many to be one of the oldest artifacts on Dioya.
As historical myth goes, when Co created the First Great Dragons in the beginning of the Era of Establishment, the Infernal god also put much of their magical energy in the gemstones of Dioya so as to spread their power around. The Great Dragons, greedy with power consumed these stones, increasing their magical abilities and eliminating any threat of non-Dragons from challenging their power. As time continued on, the last of these magical stones were found by mortal races, found out by a Great Dragon, and consumed by the Great Dragons who found immense purpose in finishing what they had started. As of the Era of Order, all but one of the known remaining gems has been destroyed, this is The Co Stone.
The Co stone was recovered by the first Aaracokra tribes that would eventually unite to form Skywing Village. There, it stayed for thousands of years and was carved into its current appearance as a sharpened, thin gem. The Co Stone was used mostly for parlor tricks by the aristocracy of Skywing Village. The Co Stone seemed to have the ability to create a temporal seam within the fabric of space and time. Anything that it cut completely had no damage dealt to it but existed entirely separate from its source until rejoined. Aaracokran nobles used the Co stone to cut off their claws, beaks, and at one point in time when a foreign king was visiting, the head of the Sky Lord, all for their entertainment.
The Co Stone was stolen during the Era of Change by a young member of the Bounty Hunter’s Guild named Clicker. This act of espionage was nothing more than the young Kenku’s declaration of love for a fellow Bounty Hunter’s Guild member, Kiaryn Wynxina. Kiaryn and Clicker co-forged the Co Stone into Clicker’s signature Scythe to create The Scythe of Division. The Scythe of Division took Clicker years to master, but after gaining proficiency with it, Kiaryn and Clicker became and incredible duo, capturing every one of their bounties alive up until Kiaryn’s death from the wounds she sustained during a battle with the adventuring party known as The Kings of Leon. Clicker, beside himself with grief, hunted down The Kings of Leon and met his own death, passing ownership of the Scythe of Division to Ryuk Jackson, Warlock of Bayez who eventually sold the Scythe to Vashe the traveling Tortle Salesman.

THE CO STONE:
When properly attuned (SPELL ROLL 25+) to a piercing or slashing weapon, the item gains the properties of a magical item and can no longer cause physical damage to a target.
To any user of this weapon, including the owner, the weapon will feel unfamiliar until a set amount of successful uses are made. This weapon will have a -7 misc modifier for anyone who uses it until a natural 20 to hit is rolled. For each natural 20 rolled, the Co Stone imbued weapon will increase by 1 proficiency point permanently.
When a weapon makes a successful attack roll, whatever part of the target that the weapon goes through is severed in half. The target takes no damage and does not feel pain, but cannot control whichever parts of their body have been severed from the head. This effect lasts for as long as the weapon user likes.
