Naria Brightfrost Character in Dierde | World Anvil

Naria Brightfrost

Naria Brightfrost High Elf, Druid (Circle of the Moon), Lawful Neutral Noble   A princess from the Northern regions of Hulla-Putyor who left home to find her place in the world and to prove she could be more than just a princess. She was granted a gift one day in the quest where she was given powers… this is due to the gods being aware of the forge and trying to help, since she is royalty and it was her starsign they were able to grant such an unusual blessing.   --   Thanks to your noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of you. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are. The Common folk make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to.   Her parents rule over a community of Arctic (moon) elves, owning lands, collaborating with other leaders, and managing a small military force (I believe in this world, the north is wrought with turmoil, perhaps Naria's family rule lands near this upset, but manage to keep it sheltered and safe, causing some of Naria's isolation and coldness). Their family has lead this (city/community/town?) for countless generations, and they are loved by their citizens/subjects. Naria is the youngest of 4 children born to her parents. Her older siblings were post maturity when she was born, and had taken on supportive roles in the family and community. As the youngest, Naria was indulged by her parents, who had decided not to have more children. She loved exploring the wilderness on the outskirts of her homelands, and felt more connected to nature than other elves. The extra doting combined with a lack of discipline or responsibility, causes Naria to come off as snobbish, and self important when in comes to frivolous matters. Her parents did teach her that those in power need to represent the less fortunate, and look out for their peoples' best interest. The community was primarily Elven, and her knowledge of other races is mostly from what she has read and been taught.   Once Naria reached maturity, she tired of being called spoiled, and decided to set out on her own to prove that she was capable of being useful and independent. Her parents are nervous for her to go out, but want her to be happy. They expect to have to assist her financially and with other aid. Her siblings expect her to return within days, as they do not think she can survive without servants and other luxuries. She is hoping to make a name for herself (while bonding more with the nature she loves) and isn't afraid to utilize her noble position to expedite this. Icy blue eyes. Athletic build. 125 years old (young adult).   At a Glance: • High Elf Druid, Circle of the moon • From the North, a Princess   Relationships: • Mother • Cousin   Personality Traits: • If you do me an injury, I will crush you, ruin your name, and salt your fields. • My favor, once lost, is lost forever.   Ideals: • Family. Blood runs thicker than water. (Any)   Bonds: • Nothing is more important than the other members of my family.   Flaws: • I secretly believe that everyone is beneath me.   DM Notes: • She’s a high Elf who’s noble-born (princess), Peter and Amber say she thinks she’s better than everyone else haha She’s standoffish and aloof. Comes from a cold/icy land so she leans more towards ice spells and animals that are found in snowy regions. She has chosen to go on this adventure because she wants to prove to her family that she can be independent and doesn’t need to be taken care of. • When you left your mother had a talk with you before you left. She suggested you seek out an acolyte named Sister Garaele in the town of Phandalin. She told you to be at "The Rampant Fox" in Neyer'sWinter on the night of the first of Winterswane. You will meet a Dwarf named Gasren Rockbreaker. Gasren was in need of some helpers who could protect a wagon to the town of Phandelin. It's not important how she knows of these things, but she is sure that Naria could be of assistance and earn some quick coin. Plus Sister Garaele is a distant cousin and is in need of some help. • Right before they were ambushed she was granted a "gift" from a mysterious source with only a whisper in her ear and she was stronger in many ways. Trinket: (58)the hilt of a sword     --   Sister Garaele - Naria's cousin, the Elven cleric of Tymora who has a quest.
