Mysterious Red Liquid

In Trolldeth Forest, The Mighty Menagerie found a dead dwarf being devoured by Displacer Beasts. He had a pair of Boots of Elvenkind, a Flame Tongue Shortsword as well as a mysterious package.
It was addressed to Durnan of The Yawning Portal.
Barlo stealthily openned the package, saw the vial, and then closed it back up as if unmolested.
