Basalt's Magic Ball
This murky crystal ball has an odd isohedron suspended inside of it. Speaking a "Yes or No" question and concentrating on the orb gives you a truthful answer using a phrase from the following list:
The orb cannot answer questions about the future, it can only confirm things about the past. It can only be used once per day, regaining its use at dawn. If it has already been used, or the DM doesn’t want to give the answer, the orb responds with one of the 'Unsure' phrases.

Mechanics & Inner Workings
The solid rock looks like a very well shaped sphere of dark basalt, but if one wills it answer a question it will then have a misty cloud effect and in the effect one will see a message to answer the question.
History
Helga gave a little crystal ball called "Basalt's Magic Ball". It can allow someone to ask a 1 question per day, and get an answer. The party purchased a few items such as an alchemy jug, immovable rod, cloak of useful things, and dagger +1.
Bastion asks the Basalt's Ball "Did our visitor come last night" The response was vague -- "better not tell you now."
Q: "-- is this creature telling the truth?" "Signs point to yes"
Bastion also tried to put it in the Adventurer Class Airship when they found it.
Question: "Is the Hag we're looking for to the path straight ahead?" Answer: "Outlook good"
Q: "-- is he lying?" "Very doubtful"
Q. Has jacoby come in contact with the cubes for the journal? A."Don't count on it".
Q. "Are we going the right direction?" A. "Outlook not so good."
Q. "Is Joshua still in possession of the cubes that Barlo and Grognard are talking about?" A."Reply Hazy, try again later".
Q. "Is there a ghost on our property?" A."Signs point to yes".
Q. "If I get rid of the magic lock on this door, can we force the door open?" A."Outlook Good".
