Halfling

Halflings are the short quick or stout desert people. Legend has it they were made this way by the great spirits to help them escape the storm mouthed blue shadows of death by finding the smallest shade and teaching them to camouflage within the sparse rocks and stones of the desert. Too small to catch the attention of many of the deserts other dangers they dwell in nomadic bands in the deserts, though some have adopted to a more civil life. Halfling culture is very nature based with Druids and Rangers being proud classes they take on and solidifying their place with elves as cousins they accept into their magical lands.
