Ejii'a
The native, peaceful inhabitants of the ice Realm of Ejian known for their advanced Adstrumite technology and scientific achievements.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Biped humanoid species with two arms finished by dextrous hands and two legs. Skin colour varies from grayish light blue to vibrant blue, and they sport forehead ridges and bioluminescence from adstrumite in their water supply.
Genetics and Reproduction
Human-Ejii'aari hybrids exist and are semi-fertile. Gestation is similar to humans.
Ecology and Habitats
Originary from the icy Realm of Ejian and has adapted in part to the environment by developing several anti-freeze properties. Also prone to modifying Ejian to make it habitable--for example, primitive Ejii'aari inventions focused on converting the inherent energy of Adstrumite into harvestable heat.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Technically omnivorous but can survive on meat and Strumar alone. Require the consumption of Strumar in order to recieve all nutriments vital to their survival.

Social Structure
Traditional Ejii'aari heirarchies are based on how much an individual contributes to the wellbeing of the overall society. As such, societies are widely cooperative. This is especially true of the Ejianese Ejii'aari who are not of the Voiceless Lost and are part of Guon.
The Ejianese Ejii'aari are governed through Guon by the Ejii'aarii Enclave, an oligarchy of individuals who have gone through rigorous training and passed their three Trials to represent the interests of their region in the government. As such, the whole of the Ejii'aari people of Ejian function as a single, extremely widespread nation.
Facial characteristics
Characterized by cartilagenous ridges reminiscient of the Qir Tesz'tskaa bone plates. Facial features are strongly defined although softer than for their Zahyran counterparts, usually with ridged brows and jaws and an overall heart shape. Dentition is human-sized but sharper to accomodate for mostly carnivorous food choices. Eye colour ranges from silver to purple via blue (mostly based on ethnicity), and their hair, which covers their heads in the same way as humans' do, ranges from white to blue, again via purple (the species' equivalent of red hair is bright pink). Have adapted a second eyelid, specialized structures in their noses and tough skin to help survive snowstorms.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Originally from Ejian, but have spread to the Southern Expanse in Andellion due to the Invasions, and also to Thestra where the local members of the species have more than enough Adstrumite stores to strive. Many Ejii'aari can also be found living alongside the Tesz'jat on Zahyr, as the Zih'ra philosophy is wonderfully compatible with the species' natural pacifist tendencies.
Average Intelligence
Individual intelligence is comparable to humans. Ejii'aari from Ejian, however, possess reduced individuality coming from the Guon, and must be described in terms of collective intelligence, which is totally alien to human intelligence.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Hearing, sight and smell is better than for humans. Due to the species' Tesz'tskaa ancestry, they have developed a derivate of the Korsh Alamak, the Guon, or "Oneness".
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Traditional naming of the Ejii'aari breaks the family name in half and sets it at either end of the given name. For example: "Ah'jeikohyne'yess" is thechnically Jeikohyne of family Ahyess (something she does get teased about in Andellian...). Ejii'aari will simplify their names in order to make it easier for other cultures to say.

The Ejii'aari Enclave, the main ruling body of the Ejii'aari on Ejian.
Beauty Ideals
Bioluminescence is considered to be attractive for this species due to the importance of Strumar in their diet.
Gender Ideals
Varies based on ethnicity. Ejii'aari do not have a concept of gender due to the Guon. Non-Ejii'aari Ejii'a follow the gender norms of the dominant species of their environment (e.g. gender binary for most of Andellion, three genders for most of Zahyr and five genders for most of Thestra)
Average Technological Level
Probably the most technologically advanced society in the Nine Realms, but the Ejii'aari of Ejian lack interest in conquest, hence why humans are in control of the Nine Realms and not the Ejii'aari. The First Invasion, in the Ejii'aari's point of view, was more of a regrettable fluke than anything and had been led by blood-thirsty Ejii'aari which were denied by the Ejii'aari Enclave and outcast.
In charge of the major Adstrumite technological breakthroughs excluding communicators and timepieces because these are inventions that are not necessary for Ejii'aari of the Guon.

Major spoken language is Jii'aari, but dialects exist by ethnicity.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
See Jianghi for the major philosophy of Ejianese Ejii'aari. The Immortal Songs and Trial of Ice are traditions observed by almost all Ejii'aari nations. Ejii'aari of Andellion gesture with their hands to add nuance to spoken language to compensate from the loss of Guon.

Kio'eixinhen'chira (Eixinhen Kiochira(, said to be the author of the Scrolls of Verity and the first to advance the Seven Absolute Realities.
Lis'unadi'lieng (Unadi Lislieng), to whom is attributed the seven forms of the Icefall Winds dynamic meditations.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
General dislike for the Tesz'tskaa which they view as primitive, with the exception of the Tesz'jat which follow the traditions of Zhi'ra. They tend to dislike humanity in general due to its chaotic nature (the exception to this rule are the Ejii'andel ethnicity of Andellion).

Skin colour varies from white to pale blue through grayish and purplish tints and the species possesses various natural markings (stripes and spots) made of adstrumite deposits beneath the skin, making the species vaguely bioluminscent in the dark.
