The Exodus
The Exodus is a popular myth among The Hahgi ghoblins. The story goes that at the very end of the Goblin Crusades in 268 IF, the last remnants of the Crimson Fleet set sail from the western coast of Kanik, crossed the Drak Ib, and began a journey across the Methylwyan Ocean, their ships filled with the most revered Hahgi sages, priests, leaders and warriors. The Exodus was supposedly a last-ditch attempt to save the most respected of the Hahgi from the wrath of the Empire of Nara Tok.
None know what become of the fleet, though in the early fourth century IF, the Exodus became a popular theme among artists in Lucria, briefly entering the mainstream as far north as Ipoli.
On the Thranish peninsula, 'joining the Fleet' has become common parlance for passing on, as many Lucrenian theologians consider the Exodus as a story to be a metaphor for escaping the mortal realm.
In recent years, after the discovery of Neosia, some scholars have suggested that the Exodus may have been successful, and that the members of the Crimson Fleet could have made safe landfall in the new world. There is no evidence to support this, however, as even today the western route to Neosia has not been discovered.
