Esnya

Esnya is the goddess of dreams, flowers, illusions, and the moon. She is the queen and mother of the fae and one of the most ancient known entities in the universe. She has been a widely known deity for millenia, and an object of fear, worship and superstition across most of Deyol. With time, her popularity and influence dwindled, and her mythos was adapted into regional variants which are also becoming uncommon. One place, however, never forgot Esnya: the Faewood, home of the namesake infamous fae. Esnya and the Faewood have always shared some unexplained link - it is the only place where the dreamborn and the Fae can be found, and the area has always been teeming with the supernatural. The existence of the fae, along with the relative isolation of Faewood societies, have ensured that tales of Esnya and other old gods have persevered there through the years. She lives almost entirely in the Dreamscape, and uses the fae as probes and informants, and in the rare case she wants to communicate with the outer world she does it mostly via dreams.
