The Dreamscape

The Dreamscape is Esnya’s home realm, and a separate world from Deyol. The landscape is always shifting, and can be anything from black grass to bright pink ash to syrupy water. There is no sun on the Dreamscape, and it is entirely shrouded in a scintillating fog, parts of which spontaneously morph into Dreamborn. Because the Dreamscape is so unpredictable, it is one of the most dangerous places that exist, compounded by the always-shifting natural hazards and the Dreamborn that inhabit it. Exceedingly few people from the mortal realm have ever set foot in the Dreamscape, both because of its perilous nature and because it is almost impossible to travel between realms of a world. The Dreamscape is also barely known in Deyol, because the fae obfuscated and hid its existence for ages, especially the findings of Esokos sages.
