The Faewood

The Faewood, also known simply as the Wood, is a large forested region in the West of Deyol. It is one of the most magically attuned places in the world, named after the iconic fae that live there. The people in the Faewood don't live in an especially advanced society, so their tools are made mostly of wood and bronze, and in few cases iron. Society is organized in relatively small villages of wood and stone, a few hundred people which are often led by an elder or council of elders rather than a central government. Faewood culture is full of superstition and mythos due to the frequency of magical things such as dreamborn and fae.
