Mirrorwatch Tower
The Mirrorwatch Tower stands around ten stories tall from the surface but extends an unknown distance below the earth; it is rumored that the tower's base actually rests on or even within the elemental plane of earth.
Purpose / Function
The Tower originally belonged to a powerful mage who sought to tap into the power of all elemental planes. He created powerful dimensional vaults to contain wyrds and elementals for study.
The Tower has since been repurposed by The Mirrorwatch, who use it's dimensional vaults to isolate potentially dangerous magical artifacts from the world for the safety of all.
Alterations
The Tower initally was only three stories tall and did not extend below the surface. The original occupant began magically constructing extensions to the tower that bring it closer to the elemental planes of air and earth.
History
The Tower originally belonged to a powerful mage who sought to tap into the power of all elemental planes but he vanished on an expedition to The Furnacelands, where he believed he would find a gateway to the Elemental Plane of Fire.
Several decades later, The Mirrorwatch stumbled upon the Tower. After finding the trapped and enraged elementals within, they decided to take posession of the tower to prevent a disaster should someone else decide to free all the elementals trapped within. Overtime they managed to catalouge all the Tower's vaults and determined them to be the perfect place to isolate dangerous magical artifacts from the world.
