Session 15: Onward to Pleasant Report

General Summary

The gang awoke in Blooming and made their way off towards Pleasant. The gang traveled along the Forlorn and the Great Woods uninterrupted for the majority of the day. Once the gang got closer to Pleasant, they were stopped by a large group of men wearing the crest of Plutos. The leader of the men told the gang that they were instructed to wait for R, but the fighting broke out sooner than expected. During the fight, a few members of the gang were shot and things were looking like they were undercontrol and cleaver speech from Whistler had somewhat calmed things down. However, matters got worse when a large shadow flew overhead. A massive Roc landed and the rider spoke to the gang. R told the gang that this was their final straw and he was going to take them down now. He ordered his men to finish the gang off. The Roc flew back into the air and swooped down again and spread Mouse's insides all over the road. The gang fled into the woods, but were still taking shots from the guards of Plutos. The Roc flew back down and plowed a path through the trees, splitting and uprooting the trunks with ease. The battle looked as if it was over, two members of the gang were unconscious and Avix was making his last stand with the beast. A large mound of earth was moving in the distance and moving quickly towards the Roc. As it got closer, Scab realized what is was, as they had seen this before. The mound of earth got closer, and the Roc kicked Avix away from itself. The mound disappeared only for a brief second and a large crater opened beneath the Roc and a Purple worm began eating and pulling the Roc into the earth. The Roc and its rider were both sucked into the hole and all of the guards fled in terror. The gang members were nursed back to health over the course of the night and through a majority of the next day. The gang arrived in Pleasant soon after and met with the Sheriff. Carver, with his usual quick temper, stabbed a knife through the Sheriffs hand and demanded the Sheriff tell the gang where Gornstein was! The Sheriff told them that Gornstein was most likely at his shop. The gang worked their way into the shop and found a hidden passageway leading down a dark ladderway into the earth below. After what felt like hundreds of feet, the gang found themselves in a dark room with no windows. Gornstein made himself known by turning on a light and telling a tale of why he had done what he had done. His tale was long and well thought out, but not believable, as worms do not make great scouts... Gornstein, realizing he was going to have to kill in order to escape, opened a overhead door to reveal.... A cyborg Sylvester riding Majestic!!!!!!!
