The West Border River
The West Border River (Lynna Nis Birre) forms much of the western border of Sudland, separating (and protecting) Sudland from the wild regions between Sudland and Koyon. It is a large river, especially at the southern end. Farther north, the river flows rapidly, draining a significant part of the runoff from the [The Great Southern Range. The distance from the West Border River to Amir, the capital of Koyon is about 250 miles (400 kilometers).
