The sole defense is the large tower in the center, known as the The Mast

Assets

Over the past several months, the forests around the mast town thinned out a bit. A cluster of homes were built near a river bend in the Velgan. Beach dwarves. Soon construction on a few small piers started, and then a construction yard for shipwrights to work in. At first dozens, then hundreds of Beach dwarves moved in, attracted by the promise of good pay and new opportunities to prove their skill. The leader is Marlinn Felbrom. As this village grew, just down the hill from mastown, so did the farms surrounding it. A handful of brick buildings were constructed in the center of town, housing a Luthier and a Tavern.

Tourism

It is rumoured that people in this town never use stupid insults, but resort to increasingly witty and ruthless language. A barfight is so uncommon because conflicts just escalate into duels of the tongue
