  Where you grew up:
Dwarves can be found throughout the entirety of Demis. Depending on your race you may have been in the more northern aspect like the Mountain Dwarves in the country of Wustra within the Rolling White Mountains. Or from the hills and mines located in the Southern countires such as Mastra and Goldport. If you are a Frost Dwarf it is more likely you were part of the roving clans situatied within the Northern Wastes or came from your original home of Strihia.   It should be noted however that the Dwarven people are a common foundation of the cities and villages throughout Ankroth and therefore you may not be from an ancestral home and instead grew up among other races in the various cities of the continent.
  Who are your parents:
A dwarf's life typically circles around their clan and in turn their family unit. You probably have a close connection with your parents and your multiple siblings, or at the very least they were very involved in the early portions of your life. In the rare occasion a dwarf is orphaned another clan almost always takes charge of them and in some cases offers them their name instead of their previous. Your family name is a sign of grand honor and being offered another's shows great conviction and trust.
  What is your status:
Dwarven society works in a caste system based on your family's standing. Though it is possible for dwarves to ascend or descend it is usually based on which family they marry into. Chances are depending on your family history you will be seen by the dwarves of your chosen birthplace as at that level until you prove otherwise. Dwarves respect those at the highest of their professions so in the case of a master blacksmith bringing new and incredible techniques to the clans his name may prosper and gain in standing. Same goes for adventurers who help change the world and bring honor back to their home.   For the families that live in cities not predominately dwarven this caste mentality is almost non exisitent as each city has its own soceital hierarchy and those dwarves will conform to that ladder. Since the movement up and down the ladder is easier in a non caste system many dwarves will strive to go up that ladder as they grow and love to be respected either in talent or title.
  Why did you leave:
Wanderlust is not a common trait for a dwarf. Most of the time dwarves feel an innate need to take the place they have been given by society or their clan. This goes for miners, jewelers, farmers, soldiers, and politicians. The dwarves that leave their clan are usually forced into their actions by duty or another strong motivator such as revenge or family pride/honor. Not all dwarves need such strong motivators as the call of adventure and fame may be the enough for some, it just isn't common.
