Verndari Mountains

For thousands of years the halls of Verndari have remained relatively unchanged. The outside world may be covered in fog, the political group ruling the world may have shifted, but life underground continues as it always has. The people remain self-sufficient, farming mushrooms and capturing beasts of the deep for sustenance, and mining any raw materials they need. Gate cities exist at the top of the mountains for trade with the other races, but these can be closed and defended at a moments notice.
