Nature's Shield

Mask Daily Effects

Once per a day, the mask can be activated to generate one of the following effects:

Alleviate

A creature you touch recovers a number of hit points equal to 1d6 + animal handling skill. This effect has no effect on undead or constructs. It requires an action for you to don the mask and activate this ability.

Summon Beast

With an action you can activate the mask which then makes a sound to signal the trained beasts near by. You summon a beast, which appears in an unoccupied space next to you. Use the table below to see which beast comes to your aid. Use the stat black from the D&D Monster Manual for this beast. The beast is friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll initiative for the beast, which has its own turns. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions. This efffect requires concentration and can last for up to 5 minutes.

Protection

As an action, you can give up to three creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage until the end of your next turn.

Shield

As a reaction, you can increase your armor class by 2.
