Bee Pollen
In the structured world of Camp Hope, where every resource is weighed, measured, and assigned a value, bee pollen has emerged as a rare and precious commodity. Unlike honey, which flows in golden abundance during the warmer months, pollen is gathered only in fleeting bursts—harvested delicately with traps placed at the hive entrances, and only for a few days each week to avoid depriving the bees of their essential protein source. Bees collect pollen from flowers to feed the entire colony; it’s the lifeblood of hive development, necessary for nurturing new generations.
For humans, however, pollen has become a coveted supplement—rich in proteins and vitamins, and believed by some to aid in reducing inflammation, managing allergies, and even helping with weight control. Though scientific proof remains scattered, the pollen's potential antimicrobial and antioxidant properties have elevated its worth beyond its golden sibling. Stored in tightly sealed containers and traded like medicine, bee pollen is as much a symbol of discipline and care as it is of survival—an offering from the hives that promises strength to both insect and human alike.
When you consume this pollen, your Constitution score increases to 21 for 1 hour. The pollen has no effect on you if your Constitution is equal to or greater than 21.
