Lightbringer

I was born to elven parents Aingeal and Li in the year 879 AT, my world time, on the 9th day of Hammer into a noble house ((House of Shadows, Dragon Mark House)). I grew up in the elven town Oneralos, which was created by my ancestor Tylana after the defeat of the Grand Lich Archimond. While growing up, I was taught the ways of our house by Master Turiland as well as being taught the ways of being a Druid. Once I completed my training, I was assigned to further my studies with another organization ((The Zhentarim Agency)) located in the city of Emenaren in the year 1000 AT. While under the guidance of the new organization’s leader ((Jack the Mechanic)), I was tasked with recruiting new employees to help further our cause. On the first mission I took, which was to retrieve two stolen gold dragon eggs, I encountered three interesting new recruits. These recruits were Eldigan, Kade, and the newly hatched, originally gold, but magically turned blue dragon, Xiagonia. Upon returning the unhatched egg we were given Wind Rider status and thus dragon rider status. Also, somehow, I managed to persuade Xiagonia’s mom not to reject her daughter because of her being changed and she gave her a necklace to hide the change so that people would not try to kill her. Our next mission led to us saving our fourth recruit, a gold dragon by the name of Kaen, who turned out to be the Prince of Rethasa, The Metalic Dragon Empire, who was sent off to be killed by his older brother. Upon being saved he bonded with Kade, and Kade became his dragon rider. The next mission after that, we were tasked to save another dragon, who was being experimented on with poisons deadly to dragons, from an elf of the royal house of Rethasa. This dragon was the once silver dragon, Chiedhat who ended up bonding with Eldigan after being saved. After this point we completed several quests together. We braved a cave that previously no one had survived, filled with wild and crystalized magic. From this cave we obtained dragon shards that would be used to help create an epic airship like no other and a shard that we later converted from bringing death to giving life. This shard we then gave to Emenaren to help with the growth of crops to help feed all the new citizens that were moving to Emenaren. We then confronted a band of the orc’s who were raiding local trading routes. Due to my investigation of the situation and ability to understand their language I uncovered that they were doing this due to lack of food for their families. So instead of killing them we helped them obtain food and offered them employment in Emenaren as guards to help send support to their families. We then went on to confront the leader of the orcs who was implementing excessive taxation of his people, which had led to the food shortage. It was from this confrontation that we discovered he was being controlled by a djinn which we dealt with. This led to us making the orcs our new allies. It was after this that Xiagonia finally began to fully trust us and bonded with me. After that we then traveled to my home town of Oneralos to negotiate a lumber trade deal. After meeting with the counsel Eldigan, had a personal revelation, that she was the reincarnation of the Grand Lich Archimond. Not long after that we were then called to the Sylvelielie University camp at the ruins of the temple of Nera outside the city. There we explored a newly discovered, undisturbed area which was filled with spiders and worshippers of Lolth. After evicting these unwelcome guests and returning Nera’s authority to the area, I tried to end Eldigan but failed, Kade was made the herald of death and my past as Tylana, the defeater the Grand Lich, was awakened. Upon exiting the dungeon, we traveled back to the city of Oneralos and found my noble house had been overrun by demons and undead who had been summoned there by the Master Wizard Allendale. In the exploration of the mansion, we discovered a group of deathlock’s who were after a book for the Grand Lich Archimond, this book was the one that had led to Eldigan actually unlocking her past as well as her powers. After this we then went on to kill all but of one the demons, the Arachtilian Abomination, who came close to killing us before it escaped. Once the house was cleared a truce was called between Elidgan and I, with the stipulation that if she does anything that I did not agree with I would end her. Upon returning to Emenaren we were recruited to help protect a group going to purify a cursed farm, which had been supplying the town with much needed food supplies. There Orcus’s followers were encountered trying to open a portal to the Abyss. Luckily, Xiagonia’s power over lightning allowed us to draw the attention of the demon who was summoning the portal. Once he was defeated the portal was closed which ticked off Orcus who threatened to extract revenge against us. Not long after the truce, Kaen’s dad, the Emperor of Rethasa, was assassinated. We were then sent to the capital city, Tel’Kexymala, to recover a captured agent. Upon his successful release we headed back to headquarters where it was discovered that the Emperess had declared war on Emenaren. During the initial siege we went against the captain of the guard and successfully defeated his troops. His ghost was able to tell us that the army was being controlled by the black collars around their necks. We were then able to disrupt these collars with an artifact in possession of the Hierophant Druid that, when activated, disrupts all magic within a certain radius of it. After these soldiers were defeated, our group then traveled back to Tel’Kexymala, broke into the royal tomb, and revived the emperor. We hoped that he could persuade the Emperess to turn away from the teachings of Tiamat and follow the teachings of Bahamut, instead. We then proceeded to break into the castle where Kaen, his dad, and brother confronted the Emperess. It was found out she was being brain washed into following Tiamat because she was afraid that the emperor would dispose of her egg, like he had Kaen’s brother do to Kaen. Upon seeing Kaen, the hold over her was broken. She then confronted her advisor, Allendale. When he was confronted, he released a poison gas cloud on the castle. During the ensuing fighting the Emperor and Emperess were killed by Allendale. Luckily the egg was saved by the Arachtilian, who we had taken control of away from Allendale. It was from the Arachtilian that we discovered that Allendale was another reincarnation of Archimond. Kaen and his brother then ruled together for a time until his sister hatched. A few months later we received word that Allendale was trying to find the heart of the Tower of Necromancy. This led us to chasing his followers through the Shadow Fell and into Avernus. Along the way we defeated an Ancient Deep Dragon, who I later had custom armor made from. Then in Avernus we ended up resurrecting the deceased Aspect of Tiamat to full health. As thanks she made Xiagonia, the Herald of Tiamat, and gave her the ability to perform all of her breath attacks. It was not long after this that Orcus got wind of us being there and sent his army after us. We then had to flee back to the mortal realm. Back in Emenaren, we found the town overrun by vampires. Once we defeated the ones in the city we had to find and destroy their base underground as well as rescue the kidnapped counsel woman, lady rainbow throw-up, Cornaith. Underground we encountered the god of vampires who agreed to help us if we overthrow the current lead vampire, Barghast, who we had previously handed over to our organization for black mailing local businesses which ultimately led to him being turned. The god was willing to do this so that he could instate a new vampire who followed his ways more closely, that had been another previous member of our organization and a council member of Emenaren. After our meeting with him we were able to destroy the base by flooding most of it and destroying the lead vampire that Barghast had put in charge of taking the city. We then gave Argus, Cornaith’s lover, a potion to resurrect her leading him to be indebted to us. Once the lair was cleared, our organization tasked us with helping the god’s preferred vampire take the thrown of Castle Ishtein from Barghast. After breaking into the castle, we encountered Argus with a group of Celestials, Barghast with a group of demons, elemental giants from the south, as well as a group of vampires who sided against Barghast. After analyzing the situation, we decided to get out of dodge. After that we got word, that Allendale had the heart of the tower. We then prepared, for our trip back to Avernus, in the Tower of Divination where time is slowed. Once preparations were complete, we then headed back to Avernus. There both Tiamat and Bahamut had to end up saving us from a spell that would have led to our deaths. We then fought against the tower and was able to gain control over it. Then we confronted Allendale head-on and destroyed him. Orcus then showed up and I called on help from Nera, who sealed him away. Once back in Emenaren we found that the town leadership had changed and was ultimately being controlled by Jack. He then gave me control of the local organization. While there, the town was being raided by chromatic dragons who were looking for the Herald of Tiamat. We confronted them, and they told us that their high priestess had received a prophecy stating both chromatic and metallic dragons had to unite or their kingdoms would fall and that the Herald was needed. We notified them that we had to visit Tel’Kexymala first, because Kaen sister had killed his brother while we were gone, but as soon as possible we would head there. In Tel’Kexymala we found out that they had received the same prophecy from the Tower of Divination. Kaen’s sister and the royal advisor suggested a marriage between the dragon empires to satisfy the prophecy. Since the chromatic dragons are ruled by a female dragon, they suggested that Kaen marry the leader of the chromatics to seal the prophecy. We then headed to the island of the chromatic dragons where Xiagonia underwent the Trials of Tiamat and became their leader and became a rainbow dragon. We then headed back to Tel’Kexymala were Xiagonia and Kaen were wed under the blessing of Asgorath and Kaen with the blessing of Bahamut became the only platinum dragon with radiant powers. After that, we went on to fight in other battles, but eventually things settled down. Xiagonia and Kaen ruled justly over the dragons and made alliances with many other races before they finally had their first brood. Aella, or Whirlwind as everyone likes to call her is one of them. She is called that because she is always getting into trouble using the breath attacks of both her parents. Luckly, I got to babysit this lovely little dragon after her mom had, had enough of her antics. Whirlwind immediately got into the Emeneran vault, somehow, and activated a relic with her breath attacks. This relic created a portal that she then immediately jumped through. I discovered all this as I saw her tail disappearing through the portal. I then ran after her, and now I am stuck in a strange land, where nothing is similar to my world. My powers have been decreased, and currently both Whirlwind and the relic that brought us here are missing. I am currently on a quest to locate her, the relic, and a way home.
