Baron Ar'Calima Crann (a.k.a. "R")
Origin and training:
His name translates roughly as "shining" from the elven. Ar'Calima Crann was born in the City of Kyalnor in the Elven Lands. He was born during a solar eclipse, and was then destined to serve the Grove as a paladin from birth; driving away the darkness and restoring the light. Ar'calima was taken from his parents soon after birth. It was only after completing his training that he was able to get to know them in any fashion, though it was to late to form any familial bonds. Instead Ar'calima became fond of Garrock Strongarm, a traveling Dwarven smith and fighter who served as Ar'Calima's martial trainer at the Grove. His spiritual training was accomplished by the Lady Liandria Aurilen, a hierophant aspirant in line of succession of the then hierophant druid. It was these two who served as Ar'Calima's surogate parents during his upbringing. After his first hundred years of training in the Paladin Order of Shiandria, he was assigned a special task of researching the portals that were opening and comparing those events to the magic the elves used to come to Shiandria. A large and open ended task, Ar'Calima is given largely free reign to travel with the support of the temple so long as he makes regular reports. Middle aged, by Elven terms, Ar'Calima travels far and wide into the Dawnlands.Orders:
Ar'Calima is the liege lord of the Grove of Yggdrasil, and established the Grove in order to fight back against the darkness coming into the Dawnlands as well as to further his quest of researching the portals.History:
It was in Armskirk in the year of 8202 that he fell in love, and later in 8206 married an Emerald Folk Maiden by the name of Tylana, and adopted her surname as per their culture's customs. In 8206 Ar'Calima and Tylana settled down and built a home in Armskirk, then they began to contemplate having a family together. In 8207, on an expedition to Shadow Tor to research some mysterious extraplanar energy, he met Eldigan and became her adopted uncle. Later in the year 8207 and 8211 Ar'Calima and Tylana had two wonderful boys, one of which, Cunan, began his training as a Hexenkrieger in 8212 under the loose direction of the Monster Hunter's Associations.Heraldry:

Ar'Calima has been active in the town of Sylvanus and helped to end the terror of the Demon Jester, and at the Meeting of Skrattafell, where he helped repel an army of plague zombies. He captured and brought the Fallen Paladin, Thorgrim, to face the Raven Queen, and fought back the horde of undead who served the Lich Queen at the Night of Embers. He lost his wife when she sacrificed herself to close te portal to the Abyss.Physical Description
