The Wicker Goat
The oldest inn and tavern in the town. Outside it's main door, a wicker goat head hangs from a pole, old and a bit grubby but an attempt at cheeriness. Run by Lankus Kurrid, a gruff and grumpy, if seemingly honest human.
The two story building has sleeping quarters for rent on the upper floor, usually enough for the slow stream of travelers that filter through Saltmarsh on their way to somewhere else. The lower floor is a large tavern room, with a great fireplace facing the door, and a bar along one side. The fireplace's mantle is covered in trophies, hunting or adventuring, brought back by friends and customers.
