The Keep

Square Tower - 5 stories high.  Entrance is above ground, over and outside wooden flight of stairs, leading up to the second floor and down to the dungeon.
1. Groundfloor: one open room, full of storage, chests, crates, barrels etc. In the middle of the room a flight of stairs leading up and down. Rises over 2 floors.
2. Second floor: one open room. Entrance area. More storage, mostly weapons and armours. Exits to the Castle walls.
3. Third floor: Sleeping area for the guards
4. Fourth floor: The guest apartments
5. Top floor, balcony with lookout.

Purpose / Function

Protecting the castle, guarding the surrounding area, last stand in case of an invasion.

Alterations

Last centuries the guest apartments were built. The sleeping quarters for the Lady's Guard soldiers were made more comfortable.

Architecture

Most solid building in Rhynmouth. Part of Cliffort's wall.

Built by the King of Noria as part of the Cliffort.
