Sara Kathleen McDonnell (a.k.a. Meab)

Description

Meab stands tall and unbent, with copper-red hair braided like a crown and a sharp, hawkish gaze that misses nothing. She wears long wool skirts, leather boots, and layers of dark green and black like a modern-day war widow who never got the memo that the war ended. A heavy belt carries a folding baton, a short-bladed dirk, and a pouch of chalk and iron. Her voice is calm and commanding, sharpened by conviction and old poetry.

Personality

Highly intelligent and fiercely loyal, Meab sees the gang not as a crew—but as kin. She rechristened herself after a Celtic queen-warrior, and she means it. Where Sean leads with restraint, Meab moves with strategy. She quotes ancient texts and street intel in the same breath and holds grudges like sacred texts. She’s not trying to make a point. She’s trying to win a war, old and new.
