1- 1 The New Kids on the Block
General Summary
When Tommy McGregor fell afoul of the Hot Wheels greaser gang, he and his brother reached out to Sean's buddy Tommy who is known muscle for Joe Bagels and told him they were looking to set up shop. He suggested they reach out to the Five Four a small gang in the southeast corner of the neighborhood. He said that he bet they could form an alliance with them as they were having issues with other crews in the area.
The brothers reached out to their buddy Jesse to work out an arrangement and then called up Charlie to see if he was fed up with busting his ass for minimum wage and before long they had a new crew cleaning out an abandoned garage just east of Sherman park.
The first order of business (after deciding where they were going to put the "Future Bar") was to start bringing in some scharole. They again reached out to the Five Four and Chris offered them a quick buck if they would give the Halsted Boys a good beat down. More than happy to oblige, the crew quickly came up with a plan to corner the two gang leaders when they were together. They worked out that the best bet would be when Chris came to pick up Jerry from his weekly dance practice.
Jesse got a charm from his abuela and signed up for some dance lessons. He made his way into Jerry's group and then enchanted him and got him to follow him out to the alley behind the building. Just as they were going around the corner, Chris pulled up and Tommy approached him,
"Hey man, I just saw some guy take your buddy down the alley and I think they are going to jump him!" and with that the other sucker was also going down the alley. As Jesse brought Jerry around the corner, he was introduced to Sean's forhead and went down like a sack of potatos. Before Chris could even come to his friends aid, Charlie snuck up behind him and destroyed his knee. As he lay there screaming, Tommy gave him the juice and convinced him to take this beating and not think about any kind of retaliation.
Chris was more than happy with their actions, paid them and then put in a good word with them with his cousin Mark who runs the Five Fives
A few days later, the word on the street is that the Bishop Street Greasers are not too happy with the crew. Apparently they had some kind of relationship with the H Boys and the beat down has gotten their attention.
