The Kingdom of Ewyas

This small kingdom, whose roots go back to the end of imperial rule in Albion, would have been absorbed by some of the larger kingdoms in the region if it were not for the presence of its mysterious Arch-Mage, who settled in the Vale and claimed it for his own. There is little connection with the outside world as the Mage does not welcome visitors, the entire area being patrolled by wild elves and fearsome beasts who, for reasons that can only be surmised, seem to stay within its borders.

There is evidence that a powerful magic likewise protects and hides the place, as those who would seek out the Mage of the Valley for an embassy have reportedly gotten lost in the thick forests that cover the area.
