The Kingdom of Dubhneint

Dubhneint, known as Dumnonia to the Empire (a name still used by the Saxons), is the southernmost of the Five Cymbrian Kingdoms.  With the Saxon Kingdom of Wessex on its eastern border, it has been subject to much warfare as the armies of Wessex, first under Cædwalla and then even more aggressively under Ine, seized much territory.  The Brenin, Dyfnwal Boifunall ap Ithel, is a son of Ithel the Rock (Ithel Eiddyn), who took up the resistance against the West Saxons after the death of Geraint.
