This outside authority forcibly brought the region into the international market, and with it the horrors of human trafficking and slave trade. On his return in -577, he established new port authorities to check the native powers and establish a cartel to keep trade operating.

Trade Prince Zidar enlists the use of a traveling alchemist to use a radical alchemical weapon that petrifies the forest and everything living in it. The area never recovers from the desertification and thousands of survivors in the Forest of the Eight Vales region begin to starve as a result of the mass extinction of plant and animal life.

Disaster / DestructionDuring this month, a brutal month long campaign of bloody skirmishes and terror are struck against Trade Prince Zidar and his cartel. Violence extends into the ocean beyond the Lesser Azure Sea. In an attempt to corner and annihilate the pirate fleets entering the Lesser Azure Sea, Zidar's fleet pursues them through the Dire Strait. A second fleet lead by Annabelle I, encircles the entrapped Zidar from behind.
The Zagrosi Navy is decimated- and what remains of the fleet is dashed upon the rocks of the Island of a Thousand Thrones. -
