Onyx Crucible (I-XXX)

Mechanics & Inner Workings

These thirty chalices were once bonded in a Blood Ritual, binding Undead Sorcery from the vitae of Baron Gaspar into the unclotting blood bound at the bottom of every chalice. Using the blood within this cup and anointing a living dead with the symbol inscribed on the silver inlay will allow it's wielder to issue commands telepathically to the bound creature. If the user stares into the cup it can look through the eyes of it's bound undead and if it is capable of speech they make be capable of talking through it's mouth.
. Only one creature can be bound at a time and lasts indefinitely until it's destruction. If it is an intelligent creature, it is allowed a new save every twenty four hours. The save to resist the effects of anointing a creature is 12 + [the level of the user] Will Save Negates.
There are four tiers of power with these chalices, nine at the first level, nine at the next level, nine at the third level and one at the final level. Each rank up a tier allows greater undead to become bound to the chalice wielder. I-IX
